There is nothing more frustrating or time consuming to have to drive back to a shop to get something that you need to finish a job. Time is money and planning your jobs is vital to make sure you are not wasting unnecessary time travelling to get supplies.
There are also many painting products that can really save you time as a professional painter. There are products like roller spinners/roller squeegees that remove a majority of the paint from your roller before you even start washing it out. Brush cleaners/combs will also save you time everyday of the week and make sure that your equipment will last you longer than just one job.

Join up to an existing website promoting trades people.These websites either find customers for you by collating sales leads and then distributing these out to all the available trades people within an area. This can be a good way to generate sales leads.

How to add value to your painting business |

Have you completed any training courses or tertiary education? This is a great way to help improve your painting skills and be able to offer a wider range of services. Why not consider joining the Master Painters Association. This is a great way to promote your business as a professional painting business. Become an expert in a specific field, for example Deck restoration, fence painting or Interior floor staining. Each of these painting jobs could be considered an area of expertise and offering these services can help you add value and grow your revenue as a painter.
